These boots are awesome. There’s a pretty harsh break-in period of about 20 uses, but that was to be expected due to their stiffness. They’re exactly what I was looking for. The walk-mode is a definite game-changer, and the zip up gaiters work great. Hopefully I get two seasons out of them based on the $600 price tag.

I'll start off by saying I did get a discount on purchasing these boots and I work as a product designer in the action sports/outdoor I'm critical. This will serve as an initial review around quality, function and fit as I have yet to get these on snow. Overall this thing is built like a bomb shelter. The quality of materials used are top tier and a lot of the little details are very well thought through. They look great and have some amazing functional and useful features. I thought the fit was true to the other 32 boots I have owned which is very reassuring, consistency in sizing is a huge plus. After heat molding, the liners fit even nicer and I would bet that after some wear these things will be awesome. The boots are very stiff, but with a little tuning of the inner liner cinch, you can really dial in the boot to flex while still being highly supportive. Honestly, these look good, feel great on and are very built. Can't wait to get these on the skin track. Gripes: Velcro closure at top of the boot seems to be poorly aligned. When on and laced up the strap comes over and way past where the velcro actually needs to hit. I will be sewing on another section of the soft side of the velcro to extend and have coverage where it actually needs to be. Again an easy fix, but for a 600$ boot, I expect it to be dialed. Laces...I really don't get why the snowboard boot industry still uses these cheap laces. The second they touch anything they blow apart, fray and you are then that person on the hill with those wack looking laces that are completely blown apart. These are 600$ boots...I tossed the laces they came with as soon as I opened the box and made my own using far better quality materials, I'd recommend anyone do the same for ANY conventional lace boot, to be honest. The laces the industry uses are TRASH. I get it as they probably cost nothing to make...but come on a little quality on the most crucial potion of a boot would be a great investment.
