These boots not only look amazing but they are sturdy and supportive - just what I need after 2x ankle surgeries, and I’m really enjoying them now. They are stiff, and made me realise just how extremely soft my previous boots were, which took some getting used to but I’m really happy now. I had the liners heat moulded and removed the foot beds after my first outing had me experiencing too much pressure on my peroneal nerve, resulting in numb toes on my first run. After heat moulding, removing those foot beds and switching to a thinner sock, I rode for 3hrs straight :) stoked!

The stoke is on fire. I got this deal from my boys in demo's and it changed my everyday and I work up there every day. I would like to buy gear from you guys regularly and as a lift ops supervisor I believe I will get to. Thank you so much for the great comfy gear.

Bought these to replace my old Burtons, because I didn't realize how much support the ankles had lost until I nearly pulled my foot out of my boot that had been tied down as tight as I could get it when I hit a chunk of powder and did a quick stop. Whoops. So as a caveat, these boots are heat moldable, and I've seen other reviews saying that that helped initial comfort immensely to have that done. I didn't get that done because I'm lazy, but after breaking them in over several full day rides, I would say that a lot of the discomfort I had initially with pressure points within the boots would likely have been much better had I just done the heat molding. I also wear a size 7.5/8 street shoe, and probably could have gotten a 7.5 instead of the 8 I did get, but I prefer to have a little wiggle room to start within the boot, for socks and swelling as the day goes on, so I'm very happy with the 8 even though I could have fit the 7.5. Anyway, took these boots out three times so far for some all day powder/groomed green to black runs. Love the wider toe box that Burton doesn't have. My foot arch still feels secure from the top and bottom, but the toes aren't mashed from all sides. They are VERY stiff, with little ankle flex, and they have a nice, secure heel lock molding system on the back of the ankle that made my feet feel like they weren't going anywhere, even on some rougher runs. I did get a weird pressure point from that on the outside back of my left ankle initially when breaking them in, but only on that one ankle, and as the boots broke in, that got better. These do make my arches sore, and I have normal arches, so if you have high arches, they may not work for you well. Love the double velcro at the top of the boot, one on the lining and one on the shell. Along with the lacing, the boots feel SUPER secure and very responsive. It makes it harder/awkward to get the boots on, but I definitely liked both straps being there. Love these boots, definitely recommend them.
